What We Do
We create our own educational materials in order to spread the word about lead and heavy metal poisoning, developed by youth leaders, approved by experts, and distributed to communities nationwide by locals. Learn more below.
And yet, nothing has been done.
We provide necessary education on the community-specific threats of lead and heavy metal poisoning families face nationally. It’s quite simple - education has been proven to be one of the most effective ways to protect families from lead and heavy metal poisoning, yet no one uses it. We strive to create authentic engagements with every person we meet by using community leaders as our educators. In doing so, families get the best possible knowledge from others who understand their struggles.
We use our education as a tool for empowerment. Our goal isn’t just to end lead and heavy metal poisoning - it’s to give families the freedom they need to stay healthy, safe, informed, and connected with others through our seminars and discussions. We work for a future where community organizers can make a difference that resonates nationally, so that one day, no family has to feel unsafe in their own home.
